A simplified drawing of the screen. Your screen may look slightly different.

Step by step

  1. Open the survey from Research → Surveys and click Results. The address looks like app.smartsurvafrica.com/surveys/…/results.
  2. The tabs are Overview, Trends, Map, Media and Analyze. Start on Overview.
  3. Read the tiles: Completes, Median time, Cost per complete and Paid.
  4. Funnel: from invitation to payment (invited, started, completed, screened out, paid).
  5. Completes over time and Quotas (each quota fills as matching people finish).
  6. Answers: a chart per question. NPS questions show the score with promoters, passives and detractors.
  7. In Cross-tab, choose a question in Break down by. You see the share of each group giving each answer, with the 95% margin of error. Groups under 30 people show “too few”.
  8. Switch Unweighted / Weighted to balance the sample to census shares. About weighting shows the design effect and effective sample size.
  9. Scroll to Responses: each completed response with its time, risk and a Proof shield that opens the receipt check.

What you will see

  • Stability: “Results are stable: you can stop now” when the key question’s margin of error is small enough.
  • AI insights: a short written summary of the numbers (see the AI lessons).
  • Phone numbers are always masked, for example +233 24 *** 4567.
