Billing: pay, change plan and keep details up to date

Pay invoices online, change or cancel your plan, buy prepaid credit, and keep your billing details and contacts current. And what happens when an invoice is unpaid.

Step by step

  1. Open left menu Billing → Billing (app.smartsurvafrica.com/billing).
  2. To pay everything owed, press Pay now on the Account card. To pay one invoice, press Pay on its row. A secure payment page opens: card or Mobile Money.
  3. To pay by bank transfer, use the bank details on the invoice; SmartSurv records the payment when it arrives.
  4. To change plan, press Change plan, choose a plan and add-ons and Save. The change starts today; this month is shared out by day between the old and new plan.
  5. To stop, choose Cancel at end of period.
  6. In Prepaid credit, press Buy on a package (for example pay GHS 5,000, get GHS 5,250 of credit). Credit pays your invoices automatically. It is for fees, not incentives.
  7. In Billing details, fill in Legal name, Tax ID (TIN), Billing emails (separate with commas) and Address. Add Billing contacts and your usual Payment methods (labels only, such as “MTN MoMo ending 4321”). Press Save details.

Plans

  • Pay as you go: no monthly fee, a price per complete.
  • Starter (monthly) and Growth (monthly): a monthly fee with completes included, then a price per complete.
  • Growth (annual): Growth paid by the year (10% less), invoiced in 12 monthly parts.
  • Agency partner: for agencies; operators assign it.

Add-ons: Voice survey minutes, Trusted panel uplift (+25%) and Extra country.

When an invoice is not paid

You get reminders before the due date, on it, and after it. The day after an unpaid due date the account is suspended: no launches and no new invitations, people invited but not started are told the survey is paused, and people already answering finish and are paid. A banner with Pay now shows at the top.

After 30 days overdue the account is locked: your team can’t sign in and sees This account is suspended with the amount and Pay now. Paying reactivates the account at once (I have paid, try again). Prepaid accounts are suspended when their credit no longer covers what they owe.

What you will see

  • Invoices on the 1st of the month for the month before.
  • Ghana invoices include NHIL, GETFund levy and VAT.
