Get paid
Finish a survey and your airtime or Mobile Money is sent at once, or added to your SmartSurv wallet.
What you will learn
- Know the three ways a reward reaches you
- Understand why a payment can be on hold
- Check a survey receipt
Three ways you can be paid
The survey tells you at the start which one it uses.
- Airtime: credited to the number you answered on, straight away.
- Mobile Money: sent to your Mobile Money number, straight away.
- Into your SmartSurv wallet: the money adds up in your wallet and you cash it out when you like (next lesson).
Step by step
- Finish the survey. The thank-you message says “Your … is on its way”, or that it was added to your wallet.
- You get a confirmation from your network or Mobile Money provider a few seconds later.
- If the message says “Your reward is being checked and will be sent soon”, a person at SmartSurv looks at it first. Most checks are cleared quickly.
- Keep your receipt number (for example R-7KQ2M9). Anyone can check it at api.smartsurvafrica.com/verify/ followed by the receipt, for example …/verify/R-7KQ2M9.
What you will see
- “Valid: this response is recorded and has not been changed.” for a real receipt.
- The receipt check never shows your answers or your phone number.
